First time at the Bow and Blow festival in Boeschepe, France. Had a great time teaching the bouzouki workshop (pic below), playing tunes with everyone (including the Carlos, Sweeney McCartin boyos) and finishing off the weekend with a concert along with Aaron on pipes. Highly recommended weekend. Thanks to Michel and all the gang for organising.

One of the highlights of the summer was definitely playing with singing powerhouse Roisin Chambers as part of the Tintean BF series of concerts in Belfast. And the highlight of the highlight was the Brian Moore song – Croppies who would not lie down.

A new project is born! Aaron and I have teamed up with flute maestro Brendan Mulholland and singer Blaithin Mhic Cana to form the band Tempest. Our first outing was a weekend in beautiful Brittany where we had an amazing time. Watch this space!
